How to uninstall system apps on Android?

If system applications are an eyesore or even brazenly consume battery power, you can go to the phone settings, open the list of all applications, select the unnecessary one and click the "Disable" button. This is tantamount to uninstalling - the application will not work, but if necessary, it can be easily and quickly restored by clicking "Enable" in the same place.

It is best to use ADB through a computer, no root rights are required on the phone, everything is very simple, removing system applications will take 10 minutes, for example applications from Google.

To uninstall standard applications on Android, you need to get root-rights (the ability to view and modify system files). This can be done using one of the special applications, for example, RootExplorer.

Next, you need a file manager with support for accessing system directories, for example, "ES Explorer". Using it, you can remove the necessary apk and odex files of unnecessary applications.

To do this, you need to obtain superuser (root) rights and use the file manager, which will give access to the folders of the internal memory. The method for obtaining "root" depends on the Android version and smartphone model. You can use utilities such as Vroot or Kingo Root.

Next, go through the file manager along the path / system / app and delete the folders for system applications. In Android 4 and older versions, applications are stored in one heap, just delete the files with the .apk and .odex extensions.

You also need to delete the cache files of the corresponding applications, they are stored in the /data/data.

Apps with the Android icon on the icon (like CertInstaller.apk) shouldn't be deleted, otherwise you might inadvertently damage the system.
