Why is transferring applications to a memory card not available on most Android devices, but on my Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime it is?

Storage Problem SOLVED! (Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime) #Filipino

Android
Huawei
Samsung galaxy
Chinese smartphones
Sd card

I tried on a Chinese Huawei tablet to transfer the Odnoklassniki application to a memory card, but there is no button like “Transfer to memory card” in the properties of the application, although there is such a button on the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime smartphone, and it is available without root rights ... My opinion: transferring Android applications to a memory card is not supported on any Android device made in China (Samsung devices on TouchWiz firmware are not counted). This limitation is set at the firmware level.

It's 2019 and there is usually no point in porting applications. The most budget devices now have 32 GB of memory on board. With a budget of about seven thousand rubles (this is how much J2 Prime costs), you can buy a good Chinese smartphone with global firmware and at least 32 GB memory, with a more capacious battery and a more powerful processor. In addition, memory is the same, everything is much simpler - the SD card must be installed correctly. For Huawei, Honor devices -> in EMUI settings -> memory -> memory settings -> default save location -> SD card -> format the card. The card will become part of the system memory, will be encrypted and will not be readable on the PC until the next formatting in FAT32 or NTFS formats. At the expense of applications - not every application supports such an appeal, since the developers of many applications deliberately limit this possibility and this is due to security and the likely low speed of the installed external memory, which can cause bugs and other negative effects. Well, and lastly - you may have noticed that on flagship productive devices they do not put a slot under the card at all, but immediately install a large internal memory. As for the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime - indeed, such a function as transferring applications (definitely not all) to an sd card is a huge achievement overlapping its low performance, screen resolution for damaging eyes (960x540), low autonomy (2600 mAh), well, and most the main thing is strange even for 2016 the amount of memory in 8GB (it is not clear where to place applications?). With such technical data, a smartphone simply turns into an ordinary dialer, except that Google Go applications can be a lifeline. ) IMHO.

At the same time, there is the opposite effect, on the Chinese, the memory card can be made as the main memory, unlike the Samsung ...

Transferring to the memory card does not take place in full, 1/3 always remains in the phone, but this can be done if the author of the application has provided it for a CERTAIN version of Android! If the author did not think about this or did not specifically make the technical possibility of transferring in a certain version, then you cannot do this without root rights.

When asked why everyone does not do this, there is a clear answer - That part of the data that you transfer to a memory card the application can be used both constantly and rarely, partially or completely, and if the application, for example, needs to work with this data continuously, then the memory card must be very fast, such as U1 or U3, and if the speed is not enough and there are gaps - there will be errors, slow operation and application stops !!

In order not to take such risks, the authors, if possible, forbid the application transfer.
